Variance assraped me today.

I don't think I played particularly well and I don't think I played particularly poorly. I deserved to lose a bit today but I didn't deserve to be $700 below EV.

The insta quit moment came when I four bet shoved from the button v a moderately tight villain in the cutoff. He tanks. Yay, I'm not fucked and I may be golden. He calls and shows AJ with the A of diamonds. Flop? Q J x of diamonds. A little lube would have been nice.

For some reason I decided to play the SCOOP mixed hold'em low level tournament. After two hours I'm still in and actually doing pretty well. Been in the top five or six hundred most of the day. Top thousand get paid, winner gets 19k.
